Nothing against SVN, it works perfectly.
But shouldn't we update to some newer techniques like git or hg ?

Why was installer size decreased, using dynamic ? Static was good.
Had thinking it has something to do with bits and bytes and downloadingtime.

I think he meant for those questions to be the answer... Why switch from static to dynamic? Because it is better. Why switch to git? Because it is better :D
