interesting, but the word autoban might be more appropriate as the type parameter. these bans will need to expire after about a week

Please, check first autoban in ShareazaPlus.

After Sometime of work in ShareazaPlus you can notice in "Security" tab many rules like xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx - "Autoban because of sending bad packets" or "Autoban because using rogue client" and many others.

P.S. Why no to set default minimum file size to for example 5MB ?

Text-based filtering is bad idea at all.

They generated new naming scheme every day automatically :(

I think spam is an everyday occurrence of keyword based searches ... there is no way of fully stopping it, and most attempts are like a bandaid to a damn that sprung a leak. Now Autobanning based on what rule, under what criteria is someone autobanned? I could see negative results if the rules are vague, leading to a bunch of valid results being banned.

The ultimate solution is a DHT based search. Only hashes will result in a hit of one file you are specifically looking for, the keyword search is when you want a wider scope of searching.

Also maybe the Hub needs to determine that this person is constantly providing a search hit so search requests should not be routed to him because it is a high probability of being a fake.
