Shareaza

I run Shareaza 2.6.0.0 both on a desktop as well as a netbook PC. On the desktop, I get the following tabs on the Shareaza Home page:

My Downloads
My Library
Connection
Uploads
Torrents

On the netbook, I only see the first three tabs. Uploads and Torrents tabs are missing.

Can anyone tell me how to get Shareaza to display the Uploads and Torrents tabs on my netbook? I'm trying to get to the Seed a torrent option under Torrents.

Are they missing because of the window size or are they missing even though there is enough space to display them? Would you mind making a print screen and posting it on the forums?

Screen resolution on the netbook is 1024x600 pixels. 6-7 more tabs could fit in the left-hand pane when the first three are collapsed. I've attached a screenshot.

Are you using Shareaza in Windowed Mode on both computers?

Yes, I am.

On a side note: why don't you just use the icons in the menu bar to access the windows you need?

I press the Home button (icon) to access the Home page, which is the only place in which I find the Seed a torrent option.

If you double click a torrent file in your Shareaza Library, it asks you whether you want to seed it.

No, it doesn't. It just puts it on the download list and starts downloading from scratch. The question remains: Why is the Torrents tab not displayed?

Just two guesses:
- change to another language ( and then back )
- at Tools -> Settings -> disable all skins

Tried both, but no cigar... Thanks for trying to help out.

EDIT: The missing tabs appeared once I plugged in an external monitor and changed the resolution to 1280x1024. This is obviously a bug, so maybe this thread should be moved to the relevant section.

For informational purposes this bug has not been fixed to date (v2.7.4.0).

I've moved this to the bugs forum section. I think it is time that Ryo has a look at it.

pluriel, would you mind uploading a new screenshot showing the missing tabs on your notebook? Your previous attachment seems not to be accessible anymore...

It's not a bug, use "Interface.LowResMode" option.

Ryo, would you mind adding a notification message box about that option being enabled on first startup?

I can confirm that enabling "Interface.LowResMode" option does not bring back the missing tabs
