Bandwith Utilisation Problems

Hi,

The band with utilisation is pathetic compared Vuze, BitCommet, uTorrent, FrostWire and BitTorrent. Generally these clients downloads are about 6 times faster. Also the number of concurrent downloads are also better managed. Pl. try to improve BitTorrent support to match the performance of these clients and also mange to connection more optimally. It would be good to give better user option to mange the connections also giving option that the programme would manage the connections.

I have not tried other client for ed2k and Guntela. I hope it is not the same story.

Also add DC support, torrent search, connection to other file sharing networks, DC support.

We are working hard on the BitTorrent support. and it already got much better since the last version. Be prepared for some speed boosts in the future ;)

Also, there's much you can do yourself to improve your download speed. Have yo tried out if your PC is set up correctly? (Help>>Connection test...)

As for the requested torrent search... lol, but this is not possible. No torrent client has this, because it is virtually not foreseen by the protocol implementation.

DC... has been discussed many times, but this is hard to implement in our current networking core. If you find a dev to code this feature, it will be added. It's as easy as this ;)
