I read the story this morning and was shocked by the copyright law in USA.

Except for sharing files, P2P technology can do so many amazing legal things such as information sharing, distributed calculating(many branches such as calculating, search engine), distributed knowledge management, persoanl portal...

But nowadays, most P2P softwares focus on file sharing, that's maybe abnormal.

There is also a pirate party in the US and noone forces the US citizens to vote only Republicans and Democrates.
