Country block and ip block

Sometimes I would just like to block all results from a specific country (let's say France), is there a way to do it? (assuming that you don't know that france's ips start all by a similar number or something), it would be a nice improvement for next version of shareaza if you could just highlight a result and right click on it and click something like "block all the results from this country", the reason for this is localizaion.
Generally, when you are looking for results of a search, they usually come localized, so, many results fro france come in french. Instead of filtering all the results: -francais, -france, -frech, -fr, and so on, it would be better just to ignore by region.
It's just a suggestion.

I think that would work better as search result filtering, not ip blocking.

I have added the ability to use country blocking rules to by new security code, which still needs to be committed to be included in the Shareaza code base.
However there are some people who don't like the idea of country blocking rules which I do need to convince first...

Blocking by IP in the security manager wouldn't actually do what he wanted, or more precisely, would also do things he doesn't want. What he needed was a way to block results from foreign hosts, which can be by either search filter or security filter. With the difference being that doing it in security also blocks using foreign hubs so he'd only get results from those French hosts that connect to French hubs instead of all French hosts. Assuming he would be able to even find those French hubs. The way G2 works does not respond well to blocking most hubs... So a search filter would be the correct solution to the problem in this thread. Might actually be a worthwhile feature when you get right down to it. And since search already shows geoip data it would be largely a question of figuring out an UI that works.

Well I downloaded the IP block lists for CN, HK and TW and used Excel to transform these into an importable Security XML file.
But when I imported them it made no difference to whether Shareaza tried to connect to these hubs - until I stopped and restarted Shareaza and then it seems to work just fine!!!
So in case anyone else would like to import the block list, here they are (IP ranges as of a few days ago).
