There has been no change with these formats. Could you be more precise on what you think has changed so that you can't use these formats anymore?

when i put .lit/.cbr/.cbz in search. i get this message /please re-phrase the search / this search is poorly formatted, and may not function correctly.Searches should include several terms where possible, and specify a schema (file type). furthermore, searches must not be limited to numbers or negative terms only, and you should avoid overly general queries. most clients on the network will ignore a search for all mp3 files, for example because it not specific enough, and would generate too many results. is that specific enough for you this is message i get trying to use .lit/.cbr/.cbz.hope this helps you out.

Just put ".lit" in a search, no problem, even got results (including a bunch of pdf). The problem is not that you use the file extensions in a search, I do it all the time since it helps filtering spam, it is that your overall query is invalid, just like the message says.

in 2.5.4.0 it works fine.it in 2.5.5.0 it won't do the .lit/.cbr/.cbz search.

To verify you are talking about searching for ".lit" (or other extension) without any other terms? (Because as I said my search is working just fine and I am using 2.5.5.0.)

If so, then this is probably a bugfix. Search terms are supposed to have four letters and maybe 2.5.4.0 incorrectly counted "." as a letter instead of a separator. Just a guess.

If not, could you be more specific about the problem since I am not seeing any myself.
