I thought the kad implementation was just a GUI thing and didn't actually do anything. Am I wrong?!

wiggindesigns, could you PLZ take out the part about Kad from your post? Your guide is good and informative, but the part about Kad is simply wrong and misleading for normal users as Shareaza cannot connect to the ed2k-kademlia DHT, as the implementation is incomplete for now. This is something that will be coded after our BT implementation is up-to-date.

Many thanks for the time you took to write your explanations. The community needs people like you... you might be interested in writing something in this direction/copying your post into the wiki...?

I can make it more understandable, and I will take the kad part out. Just read the post in the other thread about kad not being complete


I can add this to the wiki, tho apparently I need to be part of the "editor" group
