Hi, will shareaza remove G1 in next versions isnt G1 almost dead with time wont it becomes useless and a waste of ressources and bandwidth ?
Personnaly i am disabling it since a while i wonder if there still someone using it for download !?

It is disabled by default, but I still see many G1 users.
Once I am connected most of the uploads I see are to G1 clients.

Maybe you should try going into "Discovery Services" and query the G1 hubs.
I see 13 G1 WebCaches in my list, which fetch a massive cache of users.

G1 has become smaller (like some other networks) but isn't dead, mainly it is just that users and developers have fear of laws.

Did you notice many P2P forums where there are people online but noone talk? Fear only fear.
