URGENT HELP in RECOVER SHAREAZA RESOURCES NEEDED NOW!!
Posted: 18 Jun 2009 07:29For nearest hours the priority activity IMHO is try to recover and save AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE of Shareaza resources which could be get from cached images of those devastated pages at pantheraproject.net. The danger is that they may disappear as caching bots will overwrite them with new content or blank pages, as pantheraproject.net is active domain. Perhaps this is intentional to clean it. Some says this process may take only hours or nearest days. No metter how many can be saved, as Kath said, this is incredible important to save AMAP.
For this can be used this http://warrick.cs.odu.edu/ soft. I think we need more users who could let it run on their machines. Detailed instruction and soft to download is at above site, it is 115KB in zip. There is also mail to developer, perhaps some modifications for our purposes could be done, as this is freeware. If you could let it run please do it ASAP. As number of Warrick grabs is limited up to 1000 a day we need more users to run it to try to cover (grab) more then one person could. We need to recover "puzzles" before they will disappear and then try to put them together. This would neutralize or at last would limit our last damages.
Proposal of recovering order, what we should look for first (to coordinate our efforts as it is possible)
I think order of priorites is the following:
1) English wiki (as the most actual one)
(the folowing 3 should be recovered first as contains priceless experience of users)

I have open this thread also in aim that persons who has set and has launched Warrick (or have made grabs in any other way, also manually) to let others know which part of resources they try to get, and what effects has been obtained. I think best would be to attach what have you recovered in zipped file. Kevogood pleasse say is it good idea to attach zips here, or what is prefered.
If you would have any backup or have made a recover with other method, soft, whatever please leave at last info here.

I suppose you should be able to get copy by searching in google "site: pantheraproject.net/wiki MainPage". Copy is html so links are there. They can be used for searching copies as they leads to "no such a page" msg.
