I have downloaded over a dozen files and everyone of them has this virus: Trojan Horse SHeur 2 AWNA. Detected by AVG 8.5.
What can be done about this?
I have a 0% policy when it comes to questionable files.

Thank you

Good AV soft is a must - it is last line of defence, always. Use Cyko all in one filter to limit spammer sources, also do not download fake files pretending to be "an attractive file", they can appear as efect of searching - use right low corner filter to limit them, by size, by certain words like "-sex" "-crack" etc. Do not let them fool you: when you search for file which should be lets say 5MB and you see that source has got 50KB and is zip, but not extention you were looking for, then most probably this is a kind of malware - trojan, virus, anything - trying to get into your system. Always the weakest part of any protection is the human. Until you will not download a dangerous file your system is safe, so be carefull what are you dowload. Read in Shareaza wiki about searching and filtering.

your searches are being polluted by spammers who return files with the same name as your search terms. You are probably downloading the same few files over and over again (probably all the same file size too). You can clean up your search results using the All-In-One AntiSpam Filter (made by me)

You should also take into consideration the files ratings and reviews if they are available. If the file has a 1 star rating and / or reviews stating that it is a fake odds are it is a fake.
