firewalled by xbox

hi everything works fine except when ever my sons xbox goes online i get a you are firewalled message we are using the same router the only way i get it to work is unplug xbox from router how do i solve this problem as it is causing tension when i uplug xbox your help would be much appreciated cheers

try setting up a static local IP address for your computer and Xbox on your router. perhaps the Xbox is stealing your IP address which would cause the firewalled message
