Donation?

Postby alexoren » 16 Jul 2010 21:27

I understand that the Shareaza project does not officially accept donations.
I found Raspopov's donation page on SourceForge but paypal complains: "Currently PayPal accounts in Russia are only able to send payments. This recipient is not eligible to receive funds."

Fuck them.

Any suggestions how to send a token of appreciation to the developers?

Yeah, many thanks! What we really need are more people telling us that we are actually doing something good with Shareaza. Usually, people only come here to complain when something doesn't work...

I am grateful, I am thankful and I am appreciative.
And it can stand repeating: you ARE doing a good thing!

Regarding complaints - some people complain, others ask.

I've been asking for a while for BT improvements (and for a lesser extent, Ed2k improvements). I'd like Shareaza to be the ultimate P2P client, able to to everything that the competition can, and then some. So I post and I ask.

I do not delude myself that the authors are under any obligation to consider my requests, but I would like them to be addressed nonetheless.

However, I would also like to give something back. Between work and family, I don't have the time to contribute code so I assumed that monetary donations can put to a good use (supply you with beer?).

Best wishes,
Alex.
