Accessibility for blind users

Hello,

I have searched, but didn't find anything about that.
So, I would like introduce that subject, and know what do you think about that.

I am blind, and use Shareaza, and some points are difficult for us.

For example, on upload/download list, we can move item by item with up/downarrow, but my screen reader (NVDA) doesn't read anything. I know I am in a list view, I know which list, but not which item. After having looked at it, I think it is because items are not considered as children of the list. Visualy they are, but not for Windows.
Another point, menu titles are not always read correctly.

Would it be possible for you to work on that?
Of course I can give you the precision you want if you need some.

I'm sure you can understand that blind users are a very small part of our user base. That being said, as an open source project we try to stay in tune with the needs of our users and reach as many people as possible. If you would like to discuss this is further detail you can often chat live with the developers using our IRC chat channel which you can find more information about at http://shareaza.sourceforge.net/?id=support

Does your screen reader work with the web interface?

Hi,

Thx for your answers, I've looked at this and it is good for me, except we cannot make operations on more than one item. If this possibility could be added it would be perfect or in any case... very good! :)
