Feature request list:
-Remember players selected in media player settings, even when I select Shareaza Player again, and use Shift+Del for delete the item when mouseover.
-Add support of Ares shared folder, if not implemented.
-Filter __arestra__ partial files from search results, if not implemented.
-Maybe Import Ares partial files?
-Add media player toolbar like "monitor" with basic buttons.

PD:
¿Is the internal media player code re-implemented?
In older dailys builds work fine, but now is disabled and show this message:
"Shareaza could not instatiate its MediaServices plugin. Please reinstall Shareaza, and confirm that you have the necessary media codecs and output drivers installed."

Thanks.

-With shared folder I mean detect the Ares shared folder and add to the list of shared folders in Shareaza, just that.
-I know about the remote control, but I would like in the toolbar.

PD:
¿Any news of the media player?

Thanks.

Ryo can add Ares import to Shareaza (he even created some Ares related tool). Ares also use SHA1. I many time manually moved partials from Ares to Shareaza and back.

Well, this is just a question, but can be also feature request.
Can I uninstall some unneeded part sof Shareaza? I mean chat and media player. I think if these parts becomes separate from the core this will reduce computer resources. In fact the primary purpose of Shareaza is file sharing, anything else are extras.
Regards.

You can disable the media player plugin and delete it, as you can do with any other Shareaza plugin. The IRC chat is included within the main .exe file so it cannot be removed, but it won't need CPU-ressources when being disabled. It only needs some small amount of RAM space when Shareaza is loaded initially.

IIRC ShareazaPlus doesn't have the media player or the IRC chat client, so you may want to take a look at this fork/variant.

No, I'm not sure. Like I said, if I remember correctly (IIRC). If someone has more information or is willing to try it to make sure that the media plugin is not installed and report the result here, he's very welcome to do so.

I've installed it just to try out. You were right. It comes without media player plugin by default.
