2.7.7.0 Installation Error 5

I'm getting a cannot access file in temporary directory, Error 5 on any attempt to install the newer 64 bit 2.7.7.0 version over the 64 bit 2.7.6.0. No other details are given.

Anybody know what is causing this?

OK, even though I'm an Administrator on this machine, I had to force the installation to start using the "run as administrator" option off the drop down menu and then it installed. I must have a permissions issue on this machine. Anyway, problem solved.
