shareaza stealing magnet links

I use bittorent as my torrent program.
It is set to handle all torrents.
In shareaza i deselected magnet and torrent associations.
My standard programs in windows to handle magnet url is set to Bittorent.
When shareaza is closed, everything works as it should.
But when Shareaza is running, my magnet url's open in Shareaza.
I haven't found a solution yet, searched the net, tried every suggestion, but no solution...

Anybody have a solution for this?

far from giving you a technical solution, but i see no point at all of using two p2p clients installed and running at the same time.

Use Windows "Control Panel" "Default Programs" applet.
