Can I continue incomplete torrents in Shareaza?

I started downloading in Halite, but I want to transfer the incomplete download to shareaza to finish it off. Is this possible?
Most BT clients store the incomplete files as they are named or just append a file extension. After looking it seems shareaza creates files based on the hash value and names them according to this. How would I go about moving an incomplete torrent to shareaza?

I am not sure, but I would try this: 1) open torrent you have in Shareaza - download will appear in download area 2) right click on it > advanced properties > actions > "merge with local file and reverify" - will appear file selector you should select incomplete file you have from program you have mentioned. Shareaza should import data from it and merge to incomplete file and reverify and continue downloading.

I think this would be more safe due to reverifying imported data, so would be avoided eventual problems with compatibility between incomplete files formats.

I don't know if your incomplete files can be used directly, perhaps yes, perhaps no.

I tried this earlier, it seemed to work for one file then failed for each successive attempt. Even if it worked the problem doing that is you can't select directories or multiple files so a torrent with over 200 separate files would take a long time to import.
I was kind of hoping there was an importer or some secret voodoo that other veteran shareaza users were aware of.

You could run both clients at the same time until the torrent finishes. The bandwidth going to the torrent is more or less the same whether it is being done by Shareaza or the old program. This works either by letting the old program finish the torrent or by letting Shareaza download from the old program locally if it supports a local connection. (Knows that uploading to peer in the same machine does not come from the internet upload bandwidth.) But the easy way would be just to let the old program finish the torrent.
