Playing downloaded files.

Just upgraded and now downloaded avi files won't play at all. Mpg files will play but no sound. Tried uninstall and reinstall but same problem.

Either try to use a different mediaplayer, preferrably VLC (www.videolan.org), after which you change the default mediaplayer in your settings.
Or get the latest codecs, earch for K-Lite Mega Codec Pack.
