Locks up computer

Shareaza locks up my computer. I have used it for years but am now unable to use. I have tried using older versions and no luck. Any ideas?? Thanks

Could you give us more details plz? Shareaza version, computer version, OS version, what are you doing when it "locks up", what do you mean exactly by "lock up" etc.

Sorry. Wasn't thinking when I posted. I was using Shareaza 2.4 because it was the only version that would work. It quit so I upgraded to the newest version. No luck. I am using windows 7 home premium 64 bit. AMD Athlon II Dual Core. By locking up I mean that I can download and load the program with no problem....it's when I actually run the program that the problem begins. Shareaza opens with no problem but it freezes everything, I can't go to transfers, search or anything it just sits there. If I have a window open to look at anything on the net, no luck. I can't get anything else to run. The computer just freezes, ctrl/alt/del doesn't even work to shut it down, I have to turn off the computer to be able to reboot. Even if Shareaza is the only program running it still freezes the computer. Like I said I was able to have 2.4 running but even now that freezes. Any help would be appreciated, I have used Shareaza from the get-go and HATE the other programs. Thanks

Got it working now. Did the COMPLETE uninstall of Shareaza. Searched my computer for anything Shareaza and uninstalled it. Reinstalled and works. Thanks
