Why is it soooooooo sloooooooow!?

I have a 20 Mb/s connection, tested and confirmed. So why do I waste away in ques thousands long only to be granted a whole .03 Mb/s? I leave the program running, I also leave what I've downloaded in the share folder so that everyone else can download from me. I am often very upset to see people downloading from me faster than I get to download from them. It ticks me off and makes me want to not share with them. I'd switch to a different program if I could find one that is any faster.

Shareaza can't download faster than the sources upload to you. If the source has a long queue there is nothing Shareaza can do about that.

Easiest way to speed up from that is simply to download something that has faster sources, currently that usually means finding a torrent with good seeds.

if you are connected to ed2k you can try lowering the max queue length to around 1500. that should remove the long queues your downloads are stuck in and allow you to find more sources with shorter/no queues, thus speeding up your download
