Searching for Videos

Hi Everybody - This is my first post, so bear with me if I'm a bit vague.

I recently bought a new computer (the old one died on its backside) running Vista Home Premium (32bit) and have installed Shareaza 2.4 and everything seems to be OK. However, when I search for a video, that I know exists, the search will not return any wmv files. Have I missed a setting somewhere?

Most probably *.wmv has been excluded by rule set in security window [F7] as it is commonly treated as "potentially dangerous". You can see there [F7] and dissallow this rule. Not recomended due to mentioned above reason. Also can be other reasons like lack of sources, set filter in right low corner, antivirus settings etc. etc.

You should also check whether you pass the connection test (Help>>Connection test...). Passing it should also positively influence your search results.
