Down loaded file lists faded out

Since downloading the newest release (2.6) my lists of downloaded files (and I have many) have turned gray and fadded to being unreadable.
My share and other settings have been in place for years. Now what else do I need to know? The files look fine in Windows file explorer.
What changed? No other applications on my PC have any such problems.
Also, I found I cannot go back to the previous release.
