Constant random port reassigning & strange IP address

Hi I've been using Shareaza for over 7 years now & have been thoroughly happy with it

However, recent strange behaviour has me worried. Whereas it always opened and connected seemlessly and quickly, the last couple of months it has reassigned random ports automatically - which requires disconnection then changes in the connection setting & 3 or 4 changes in ADVANCED settings to the original selected settings.

What makes this troubling is that I've noticed an alien IP address (E-Rent LLC in Ukraine) in my UPnP mapping folder in the router & I have removed 5 instances of 0Backdoor rootkit twice over last couple of days.

Any thoughts?

My thoughts on this are that you caught something nasty and each time you remove a certain component of it, it will replant that component. That's why you noticed and removed it twice...

Also, it's definitively not Shareaza that's doing this.
