I had no download for a long time. So I got suspicious and changed settings. I tried so many things but no results. Then I disabled G1 and G2. Worked like a charm. Download started at full speed (128kbps). So I concluded somehow G1 and G2 were preventing ed2k to work properly. This happened in version 2.5.5.0 and the last revision in the trunk.

Note: disabling ed2k was not helpful to G1 and G2.
