Opening the Shareaza search history log

Does anyone know some sort of method to open the search history of all searches done in Shareaza? I typed in a whole stack of songs to search for and then had to reboot the computer but now have lost most of the searches because Shareaza only kept the first 10 of them and deleted the rest. Thing is I can't remember all of the song/artist names so I want to try and find them in the Shareaza history if it has one.

I've found the searches.dat file in \users\<username>\appdata\roaming\shareaza\data but it's just binary data. How do I open it? When I click on the down arrow on the front page under the 'Home' tab in Shareaza it just says (Clear Search History) and doesn't have the searches I did. I have the General.SearchLog setting set to 'True' under 'Advanced' settings and running Shareaza 2.5.5.0.

There is no such functionality in Shareaza (yet). Search history saved in registry, searches.dat file contains current searches only. If you want you can add new feature request here (select "enhancement" as ticket type).

Registry key is "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Shareaza\Shareaza\Search", inside it look for values named "Search.00" ... "Search.99".

P.S. 8-) I just wrote a HTA-script to retrieve history and show it as magnet-link list:
Shareaza Search History.zip
Get Shareaza search history from registry script.
