2.6 problems

Postby jamieprinciple » 12 Jun 2012 17:35

Hope someone can help with this. I've just installed the new version of Shareaza and despite selecting the option to reset discovery and host cache on install I'm finding it impossible to connect to g1 irrespective of which gwebcache I query :o . It should be noted that these problems started several days before the new version was installed. I've seen other people mention this so it's perhaps a widespread issue?

Also the problem myself and several other people pointed out with regards to the media player volume control not working and also the inability to slide the play bar to the desired point when playing media files seem to persist despite having installed the new version. I've checked in 'help' and it confirms I'm running the new version. Was it not possible to fix this issue with the new release?

Thanks in advance for your help :)

With the demise of LimeWire and FrostWire dropping support for G1, I wouldn't be surprised if the network is almost dead.

As far as the media player goes, you can use the free and open source :D VLC Media Player as an in room solution till this problem has been fixed.

Hope this helps

Update to say that shareaza seems to have fixed itself somehow? anyhoo, g1 and 2 both connect and shareaza runs as it should. Many thanks for all the help.
