Cannot connect to DC++ and IRC server in 2.6.0.0 64 bit

Postby goju050207 » 02 Aug 2012 18:51

:( :( :(
I have installed Shareaza 2.6.0.0 64-bit in my Windows 8 64-bit . Initially I could connect to Gnutella2 but not to eD2k servers, although I had allowed the Shareaza software in the Windows Firewall prompt that came up during the installation. Then I manually made a outbound connection rule for Shareaza in my Windows Firewall allowing Shareaza for outbound traffic on any port. I also made outbound traffic rules for IRC chat.

After that I could get connected to the eD2k network but could not connect to IRC server.

Below is the Inbound traffic rules

you will see number of many duplicate shareaza Inbound rules caused by multiple installation and uninstallation which I performed in hope to solve the problem.

Please suggest a solution.

P.S. : I am adding the hublist downloaded from http://www.besthublist.com/ and importing the met file . But my DC++ Cache is Empty.

http://www.dchublist.com/ is down

:?: :?: :?:

Has anyone tested the Shareaza on Windows 8 Release Preview 64-bit. I can connect to All networks but not to any DC++ hub. After importing the .met files from the already downloaded file from http://www.besthublist.com/ I still have no DC++ hubs in my DC++ cache.

Is my process of adding DC++ hubs right ? Plz tell me if I am wrong .... :( :( :(
