Corrupt Downloads

Hi All. I'm really at a loss to a problem I have been experiencing for a long time.

I'm running version 2.6.0.0 r9169 with PeerBlock 1.1 connected to all 4 P2P networks. This problem has been occurring for at least a year if not longer and I may have ran a different version before.

Here's the issue. I download a file and it completes and verifies no problem, however the file that is saved in my downloads folder ends up being 14kb or 15kb and corrupt. If I attempt to re-download the file again, eventually it will download correctly. Its anywhere from 10%-35% corruption rate. It doesn't matter if it is a 4MB file or a 400MB file. It will download and complete - sometimes after hours and be corrupt and I have to start all over again. Since this problem started occurring I have started using Shareaza on a brand new fresh load of Windows 7 and it still does the exact same thing.

Why would Shareaza download 100% of a file and verify it then save a 15kb chunk in place of the real file?

Thank you, sure enough - using the "Download Now" option is what causes the problem. Every file is downloading just fine now as long as I just double-click, or right-click and choose "Download"

What a serious bug that has been going on for a VERY LONG time now.
