2.7.0.0 upload problem?

Hi Guys,

i've just install the new version, everything seems fine up to now except for the upload.
like with 2.6, i'm noticing that shareaza is using more upload bandwidth than it should.

so i gave a look to that old thread to see what we have to change to have it work:
viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1352&p=9107

to my surprise, edonkey.framesize = 10 and it seems thats the max we can set it (when it used to be 90)

someone there also mention edonkey.RequestSize as another option (no setting is 90) but i've got idea to what i could set it.

so are other people are experiencing this and any idea idea to this time get rid of that behaviour

thanks!

i'm certainly wrong as you said but i'm just saying what was the solution for 2.6.
and that solution was setting edonkey.framesize to 90. but now we can't, max allowed value is 10

someone in that old topic mentions that the problem could also be from edonkey.requestsize (now set at 90kb).

what i know for sure is that we AGAIN have problem with the upload with edonkey...

hopefully at least the download now problem is sorted

hello,

anything new for the edonkey upload not working properly???? and of course for the upload bandwidth usage, even if thats not bothering me anymore since i got a better connection and it didn't grow along with the set limit.

EDonkey upload works on 2.7.1.0! Ryo actually fixed it a while ago (kudos for that; if I understood the issue correctly, it was probably a pain to debug), but it is only now available to people without Visual Studio installed.

just switch to 2.7.1, upload works, many thanks to Ryo for the fix

but now shareaza is using 50% of resource from my dual core :(
making it very slow to respond.

just an idea, you guy should make a version without torrent, irc & dc++ or put an option to install them or not. maybe that won't change a thing but for me, shareaza became less stable when those were implemented

I am seeing it switching between 0 and 1 percent. I guess you have a problem... Maybe it is building thumbnails or something like that? Or you are in hub or ultrapeer mode.

He mistakenly turned on "Windows XP compatibility mode " for Shareaza, after disabling it all works fine. :ugeek:
