G1 is getting harder to connect to.

G1 is getting harder to connect to. I get G2 and ED2K connections established almost instantly when I start Shareaza, but G1 takes forever, with a very large fraction of all G1 ultrapeers either timing out "Connecting" or spending a long time at "Handshaking" before "refused" or a similar result. Commonly it's a full minute between the G2 and ED2K connections establishing and the first G1 connection establishing, and the last (of four) often isn't in place until another FIVE or more minutes have passed.

It didn't used to be this way.

What is going on? A shortage of G1 ultrapeers relative to leaves? Some other kind of brokenness?

The gnutella (1) network is slowly dieing as its major clients are loosing market share or becoming extinct (most notably LimeWire)...

I will be glad when G1 is finally gone, bunch of fake files and you can never preview files
