Shareaza

I just installed Shareaza (on a laptop using Windows 8), and opened it.

I get the message 'connecting to the network', but it never seems to actually connect.

The file I'm trying to download is listed as 'tracker down - no sources'.

I'm using the local library's wi-fi connection. I wasn't sure what to put for upload and download speeds, so I kept them at the initial values.

Make sure you did reboots your laptop regularly, some system services (UPnP for example) can stop working after long time, this case is actual for notebooks sleeping or hibernating instead of normal reboot. So you can try to uncheck "Internet" -> "Connection" -> "Enable UPnP connection devices setup" in Shareaza options. Also Shareaza create firewall rule during start-up and you can also try to set "Connection.EnableFirewallException" to "False" in "Advanced" options.
