I have 1TB of content that Shareaza appears to be processing and ignoring user input to do it faster. I have W10. I have tried Shareaza 32-bit and 64-bit and the latest 32-bit beta. Windows reports the program is unresponsive in the title bar.

This is a common situation you have more files than can allow your computer (if you Library is not broken somehow of course). Size doesn't matter only a total number of files, try to pack files to a larger archives.

Oddly enough, BitTorrent goes unresponsive in a similar way and it isn't trying to deal with a Terabyte of files.

Here it is a list of fame (in probability order):
1) Broken video/audio codecs (many p2p clients can try to retrieve additional meta-data from known file types)
2) Antivirus and/or firewall
3) Broken HDD

There is a problem when adding new folders which makes GUI unresponsive. Just give it time to process the files. It will do it once.
BTW use the latest 64bits only.
