I cannot connect - what to do ?

Hi all,
in the past I have used SHAREAZA on my old desktop (XP) for many years and it has worked well.
Now I want to run it on my laptop (Windows 7 and online access via WIFI). In the beginning it did work, but only very slowly and badly.
In the meantime I cannot download or upload anymore.
Who has an idea to solve these problems ?
Could it be some settings (which one should I use/change ?) or which other possible reasons do you assume ?
Many thanks !!!!
BR Rubens

But you did start Shareaza first, before doing the Connection Test ?
Unfortunately portforwarding.com is down

If you tell which router you have, maybe some other can help.

One further observation I have made:
If I select a source which does have a lot of seeds (pls. see for example the attached screenshot) and put it into Shareaza, then I anyhow do not have any clients/sources for it in Shareaza.
How can that be... ?

Move the torrent on top of the download-list and wait overnight. If there are sources they will be found.
Sometimes it took a while.

Change Shareaza to advanced mode and you will have a networks tab and you can see if and what networks you are connected to.
You can also open the network Caches window at any time, and click on the various networks at the bottom to see if your client can see any caches.
If the torrent cache list is empty or the tracker in the torrent is down (or blocked), you will not get any sources.
