Problem with incomplete download after updation from ver.2.4

Hello,
I am using Shareaza for about 3 years. On 10th Nov last two files were being downloaded. A pop up D. Box informed an update ver.2.5 is available.
. I downloaded it and installed it. Immediately after that both downloading [ one about 60% and the other 40% ] showed 100% complete and Shareaxa started to move the files. I had to wait for the process to complete.
After that I tried to find the transferred files in the specified directory meant for completed files - but there was nothing transferred. I temporarily abandoned the search and shut down my PC.
Next day I started afresh and ultimately located the transferred files in My Documents and Settings/Owner/Application Data/Shareaza/Torrents. That is not the directory meant for completed downloads.
I then created a restore point a few hours before the time when this happened - but only change was ver. 2.5 was removed but other things remained as stated above.

I have tried to verify if actually the files are complete or not. Some of those are Music files and I tried to play some - without success. That means the downloads are incomplete. AND another thing is that that incomplete files directory is left with 2 SD files only.[Incomplete downloads are located in : My Documents & Settings/owner/Local settings/application data/shareaza[incomplete].

I understand that there is a way to complete the incomplete downloads. I would be much obliged if adequate guidance is given to me keeping in view that I am simply an user and not an expert.

Hi,
1 - I think best would be to finish current downloads with curebt install before upgrade, if those are only 2 files to be finished.
2 - There have been reported problems with upgrade which in my knowledge were solved in so called debug build 2.5.0.1 - so I would try use it, debug build, in highest currently r number (8353 as I remember). They are candidates for nearest official update 2.5.1.0
3 - Always it is good before update to make backup of incomplete directory, just for every case - like this one
4 - Path for downloads (also incompletes) folder can be set as you wish in Shareaza settings. NOTE! Please pay attention NOT TO SET for sharing folder containing files you would NOT like to be shared like private documents, files from your job, very private photos etc. etc. Better check it twice, please.
