Hello everyone,
Last night I updated from 32-bit XP SP3, to 64 bit Windows 7, and I'm having a little trouble with Shareaza.
For months and months it worked like a dream on XP, I would sporadically get the "You are firewalled" warning for some reason, but usually, closing and reopening the program or restarting my internet connection would clear it up. I did have the connection limit patch installed.
Now, I get the "You are firewalled" warning permanently, and even though I am connected to all networks, my client seems to only queue for ED2k sources, no matter how many GNU2's there are. The connection test told me that TCP timed out, and there was no response from my client for UDP.
I do have the windows firewall on, but Shareaza is allowed, and I had the windows firewall on back when it worked flawlessly on XP. I am part of a network, but my system is the one that directly accesses the internet, so being behind the network should not be an issue.
I'm not sure what sort of information you folks would need, so I'll leave it at that for now. I hope you can assist me in getting back to the warning free performance I had been enjoying.
Thanks for your time.
