Can't add sources

I found a file I wanted with a search earlier in the day. It sat "Pending (1 source)" for a while. Then I needed to reboot. Afterward it showed as "Searching (No Sources)".

Fortunately I'd kept the search tab open. Unfortunately, I can't seem to re-add the source. If I double-click the search result, the item in the transfer list doesn't change to show one source. Even if I cancel it and then double-click the search result, it gets added back to the transfers list as "Searching (No Sources)"!

This is clearly incorrect; either action should add the source, and certainly double-clicking a search result should result in a transfer with exactly the same number of sources as is shown for the search result, at least initially, and it should at least try to re-contact each source in turn over time, rather than give up on some of them without even trying to contact them.

How do I fix this? The file has a chance to download but only if Shareaza will acknowledge the known source for the file.

It could be that the user went offline (remember you are downloading from users like yourself, not websites with servers that are always online), in which case there may not be any sources for the file. Try right-clicking the file in the transfers window and choose "find more sources" to see if you can a) re-find that user (they may be using a different IP address) or find someone else with the file

Set Download.NeverDrop option to True, it helps to hunt for very unstable and rare sources.

If shareaza finds that it cannot contact a source then if may drop the source. If you do what raspopov said it should not drop it and you will have a better chance of reconnecting to it later
