2.5.1 still freezes when clicking on files

The program can just basically freeze at any time when selecting or clicking a file specially in the transfer Tab when one selects Start to move files up the next que. For what I can gather the program freezes as it tries to invoke an internal explorer function of some sort as I checked under what process it stopped and is always with Explorer when it freezes.

It is happening more often now than it ever did before I have no idea why one basically has to leave the program alone so it does not freeze otherwise it might just do that and it was never like this.

This is my No. 1 complaint with 2.5.x. It is hugely irritating. Not sure if this is the same thing but here are my symptoms:
- More or less random freezing right after clicking on something (a file in the grid, say)
- CPU is at 0%, but the program gets totally unresponsive
- Sometimes e.g. the file grid works, but the buttons above it won't render
- Once it freezes, nothing can be done, more or less; if you leave it alone for a while (a minute or so), it wakes up

Does a BugTrap window appear or do you have to kill Shareaza from the task manager?

This would be in the Uploads queue? Is Shareaza supposed to show thumbnails there? (No idea since I have everything related to thumbnails disabled.) When you say "is always with Explorer" do you mean Shareaza is waiting for the Windows Explorer to answer? If the answer to all of the above is "yes" you probably have an incompatible direct show filter that makes thumbnailing fail in the Explorer which makes Shareaza freeze waiting for a thumbnail that will never come.

No need for color use or bold text, a simple "no" would have been enough. What I meant is that if Shareaza is stuck waiting for the Windows Explorer (still no idea if this is what you meant), the problem must be with something it requests from the Explorer, and that means thumbnails (in some places called "previews" for some reason) or icons (which sometimes are thumbnails). Either of which requests you can disable thus removing any hangs related to it.

OK again it freezes when one clicks on a file in the Uploads Que which is on the Transfers Tab/Window and more often tan not the times I've checked when I go to the Task manager and click on Go to process it turns out it is waiting for an Explorer request. Now the request cannot be previews because it would be hanging all the time regardless of me clicking on a file or not as it automatically requests a Thumbnail preview for the program to display. So this is not the reason. It is doing a request more often than not but is not for previews as there are no previews in that TAB/Window whatsoever. Whatever it it has to do with the Start button mostly but even clicking on a file in the Uploads que by itself could also result in the program freezing. So there you have it. The problem is centered mostly around the Transfers Window or TAB specifically in the Uploads Que and whatever files in it might be clicked or the use of the Start button below it. That's it....

He probably meant how is it visible it is waiting for an Explorer request. IIRC Task Manager does not give that kind of info by default. I guess you have a debugger installed that gives you this info. If so it should also tell where the request is coming from, which would give some idea what the problem is related to.

What is there to show? When you click on Go to process it does just that it goes to the process the Application is running at the time be it the Application itself internally (ShareAza) or whatever else in this case often it turns out to be Explorer the process task manager points to when one clicks on Go to process. That's it. It doesn't show numbers or anything. Just the list of processes running and which one had focus when the application froze.
