previewing partially downloaded files

Since installing the newest Shareaza2 version, I'm unable to preview partially downloaded files. The "Smart Download Preview.." screen says "copying downloaded chunks to a new preview file". The green progress bar completely fills but then nothing happens. The preview screen stays up but no preview begins. It doesn't seem to matter whether the the file is 1% or 99% complete. This is not how previews in my older version acted. Previously I had no trouble previewing these incomplete files unless they were not yet "decoded". How does the preview system work now. How do I find the "new preview file" where the "chunks" are? Please help.
Thank you.

see FAQ.MediaPlayer on wiki.
This was a necessary change that will enable us to fix/improve the media player in the future. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Yea i've noticed the same problem with my 2.5. I found that you can see the preview file if you double click the play button. This only works on some though. The new player doesn't preview hardly any avi media files either. The 2.4 was able to preview most avi media files. Hopefully they will work this bug out because it can be a bit annoying. Hopefully i helped you a little with the double clicking suggestion. Good luck.
