Alright I have multiple sources but my file says pending?

I know I have no problems with my connection, I connect just fine with other P2P programs. My firewall has rule set up to allow Shareaza to communicate freely.

I know a lot of people have had this problem doing a web search for this, however I have yet to hear a fix for this or even why this is happening.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Could you post the result of the connection test plz? Passing it will eliminate most of the common problems.
It can be accessed via 'Help > Connection test...' from within Shareaza.

Results
TCP: The TCP connection has been accepted by your computer and the request has been answered. This means that other clients from the networks can properly connect to you.
UDP: An answer has been received from your client! This means that Shareaza is able to receive UDP packets from the network.
Congratulations, everything seems to be fine and Shareaza should work properly.

All is good, I have had a lot of experience with p2p and port forwarding. Still no one has any answers as to why Shareaza constantly says pending. Just the other day i had 256 sources and it sat pending for an hour before I canceled it.

Any one at least have an answer?

I have to agree with ocexyz. If you are waiting for an hour and the file has not started, but has plenty of sources (50+), then it is probably a fake. if this is happeneing a lot then you should download and install the AIOASF to remove the bad files from your searches

ok I have a file I'm downloading, any where from 40 to 76 sources, 26.57% downloaded, 3 days of downloading. This makes no sense to me. Yes I'm in queue but I never move up I've been Q 4 of 11 on one persons for 2 days and started out as Q #46 on one and dropped to Q #97 after a day.

Is there something I'm missing I seem to be either stagnate or going backwards?

3 days of constant downloading or 3 days of downloading with interruptions? (Was your PC running 24/24?)

(After every interruption, Shareaza will get new queue positions on each source.)

try this:
go to Tools > Shareaza Settings > Internet > Downloads and change the setting "maximum queue length" to 1500.
this should eliminate some of the eDonkey peers who are holding you in there long queues, which should allow you to search for and connect to other peers with shorter queues
