2.5 Media Player Preview Problems...

I don't know if anyone has this problem with 2.5 but when i click to preview a video file it begins to load it but then stops and the video does not begin to play unless i double click the play button. It also doesn't seem to preview hardly any avi files. With my 2.4 it would load the preview and then the media player would automatically begin playing the preview. It doesn't do that now. Now i have to double click the play button to get it to play. Is anyone else's behaving this way. My 2.4 used to also be able to preview most avi files but now my 2.5 doesn't work for most avi files. Ok i really would greatly appreciate any possible help. Thanks all.
