Seriously I do not recall the previous version having as many problems and apparent bugs specially freezing if you sneeze at them problems that plague the current versions. So what changed so drastically from 2.4 to 2.5 and onwards? Is it that the 64k builds are more problematic than they were expected to be? On that note have developers being able to recreate the freezing problems that just about all users are now experiencing but cannot be reported as errors precisely because the application just freezes and has to be terminated through the task manager? If not they might have to do just that, randomly click on files or tabs especially in the uploads/dowloads tab/window they should try clicking on the Start option as frequently as possible because we now know I'm not the only one by any stretch of the imagination that has this problem. Is just a suggestion on how to approach this problem since no error ends up reported so the normal method of bug reporting does not work.

Hmmmm... Seems that I have made just the inverse observation: v2.5.1.0 crashes much less than 2.4.0.0 and can run stable over a long time...

But I can assure you that as more users have experienced similar problems, our devs are working on the issue. In order to try out if your specific problem has already been fixed, you can try using a debug build, which can be downloaded using a link on the bottom of the download page. (Don't worry about the startup warning )

if you are using the 64bit version then that may be part of the problem. It has not been as thoroughly tested as the 32bit version, and is not officially supported by developers. Your feedback and cooperation is appreciated

Shareaza 2.3.1.0 is the only release to also have a 64-bit version released alongside the 32-bit version.
