firewall problem

i use Windows XP Service Pack2 firewall which seemed to work fine with me but then i had a powercut and the comp went off. i went back on again and the firewall dosent seem to work now, ive tried re-installing it and its the same thing again. could someone help me out please

ok ill see what i can do. its wierd becouse before i had no problem with the router and it was just the firewall that had the prob
