I posted this to show my appreciation to the fact that the freezing problem ShareAza has seeminngly has now been finally solved. Ever since I DL the current update I'm happy to report no more freezings so far on my end.

I'm happy your problem has been fixed, but to be honest... I don't think there has been a code update on that matter...

Probably hashing completed or you closed large search window (window with multiple started searches and many hits).

Also sometimes reinstalling anything fixes the problem for no obvious reason... But honestly, there are recent bug fixes and the symptoms a bug can have in a specific system are very hard to predict. For example I see "Added protection against third-party window hooks" listed. The effect this has depends entirely on the third party application that does the hooking. File accesses could interact with anti-virus, file system, or even the device driver. Anything network related (lots of possibilities in a P2P application) could interact with anything else related to networking. Drivers, routers, firewalls, anything... So maybe his problem really did get fixed by recent changes. Just not by design.
