trouble downloading music

Hi all, im new here and hope that someone can help me. I am running shareaza version 2.5.2.0. I cannot seem to download songs, but i have no problem with movies being downloaded. I have an acer laptop with intel pentium processor T4400.
I use a wireless internet stick to access the internet.
I use AVG as a virus progam.
I use zonealarm(free version) for my firewall program.
I followed the steps given to allow shareaza access to my computer, but it still does not work. Can anybody help me out with this problem?

This is obvious that we are against illegal activities. Among acceptable files are files (CC) Creative Commons of course. You must follow this forum rules undoubtedly if you want us to help you. Always.

Shareaza share just files and do not recognise what they are itself. If you just have installed Shareaza downloaded from Shareaza.SourceForge.Net and not set yourself in security to discriminate a particular kind of files there is no reason for this I think. What could happen is that you clicked in transfers screen group "movies" so you disallow group "all". There are buttons with names of groups just above list of files. See which is checked (pressed) and eventually click "all", usually first from left, to see all files.

Or let us know where you can see them.

Download via Shareaza "Shareaza Instal Guide" and read it to check if you have set your Shareaza properly and have some settings.
