cannot log in to router

just joined Shareaza today and discovered that even after checking "enable UPnP connection devices set up" in Tools, I keep returning to being behind a firewall after a time. My Windows firewall has Shareaza as an exception so I assumed I had to port forward my router. I got as far as the Westell configuration screen but could not log in for lack of user name and password. (admin and password didn't work) Not sure what to do next.

You maybe firewalled by your ISP.

Does Shareaza connect?

Can you surf the web?

Change port number to 30100.

Try admin/admin to log into Westell.

Use connection test in help menu. Tell us the results.

Shareaza connects. I can surf the web.

Results of connection test:
TCP: The TCP connection has timed out. This can be due to a stealth firewall or router that has not been configured properly for Shareaza.
UDP: No answer has been received from your client. This can have various reasons, like that your firewall or router isn't properly configured for Shareaza, or Shareaza is not running on this port, or not connecting to the networks.

Will try new port no. and admin, admin over at westell

After changing port number as suggested the Shareaza home page no longer says I'm behind a firewall. Is that it?

I failed.

Results
TCP: The TCP connection has timed out. This can be due to a stealth firewall or router that has not been configured properly for Shareaza.
UDP: No answer has been received from your client. This can have various reasons, like that your firewall or router isn't properly configured for Shareaza, or Shareaza is not running on this port, or not connecting to the networks.
At least one problem has been detected and you probably have to configure your firewall or router for Shareaza. If you need help with configuring your firewall or router, visit this page on the wiki: FAQ: Routers/Firewalls.

And the home page now, again, says I'm behind a firewall.

Can you downlaod anything with Shareaza at maximum speed? I guess your ISP has firewalled you. no big deal if you can download.

After setting up port forwarding, static IP address, firewal in NAT router & system , configuring TCP/IPv4 with every logical configuration, discovered the problen was with Shareaza. Turning EDonky off restored TCIP & UDP connection test passed.
