Hashing speed

"Shareaza is scanning and processing 1 files". It's said this continually for the past six hours. The cause seems to be an 8GB file that downloaded, which shows as Completed but not Verified. This despite the fact that a green stripe extended all the way across the bottom of the file, except for the one narrow gap where the final chunk was to go, just before it finished downloading (it should only have had to extend verification across that final gap once that last chunk was in place).

Is something broken? I see little disk or CPU use and the hash faster option has no detectable effect on either.

It's been hashing the file for 12 hours now. What do I do to hurry it up?

I guess I would try restarting Shareaza, if that wasn't successfull I'd try re-building the library manually.
The "hash faster" speed can be increased by changing Library.HighPriorityHashing in the advanced settings.

It finished on its own around the 13 hour mark but thanks anyway.

Weird, you should see "verified" before the file is moved and the file should be moved before it can be hashed. Might be a bug.
