Implementing Kad

I want to try to implement Kad in Shareaza.
I only have 8 days to do so.

I started by searching the network for relevant documents and downloaded some. Then I got the source code of emule but can't compile it because of incompatibility with MSVC2010 and use of not supported and deprecated APIs in source code.

I will read the documents and will study emule source code. Then I will see the parts implemented in Shareaza.

I really prefer a Windows client. One created with MSVC.
