Suggested icon change for default change language icon

I suggest using the apps/preferences-desktop-locale.png icon of v0.7.2 of the Tango desktop project (downloadable here) instead of our current icon. It is much more intuitive than the current one.

This contains the 16px and the 22px version of the .png file, as well as a 32bit and an 8bit version of the .ico file for both sizes.

Ryo-oh-ki, is there anything else I have to do before this gets added to Shareaza?

It's much more intuitive than the world icon that is currently used. I agree though that it could be much better. Somebody with more graphical skills than me could replace the German flag with a UN flag, which would be better. But until this happens, I do suggest using those new icons, as if I were to see Shareaza for the first time in a language I wasn't able to speak, I most probably couldn't find the language change dialog, as the icon is not intuitive enough. (However, I do agree this is my personal opinion.)

So I'd kindly ask you to commit these icons while somebody of the community creates some cool new ones, replacing the German flag with a flag of the United Nations.

(For those people reading this post, YES, indeed, this is a request for YOU.)

Doesn't the installer handle this if localization is available? I mean, if the menu text is in a language you can't understand, wouldn't that almost require that Shareaza was installed by someone else? And that that someone else would not even want you to change the language? Not arguing against changing the icon (I haven't even seen your suggestion), just rather confused about whether the reason you gave for this being necessary is plausible.

If somebody installs Shareaza using one language, this is AFAIK the default language used on that system, so it applies also to all other accounts on that PC.

But this really doesn't matter. All icons should be as user-friendly as possible, especially an important one like the language selection icon. And that's the reason why I am suggesting the change in the first place.
