Shareaza

Hello,
I wonder if you know some shareaza clients are not preserving the guid between restarts. Limewire use to preserve it very well. Is that a known issue affecting all versions?. was it fixed? or is the way it should work?. In shareaza I think it is saved in profile.xml, but something prevent to read/write it and it gets regenerated everytime the program restart.

by the way, it the Gnutella guid.

Probably, this is an access rights issue on your HDD. Are you sure your current user account is allowed to write to the folder where the file in question is saved in?
